We've gone strawberry picking at one of the local farms for a number of years now, but this year we had an added reason: to make fresh strawberry juice for canning, homemade ice-cream, and slushies.

We picked 22 pounds of strawberries, after which we spent hours cutting up and processing the fruits of our labors. I picked up a 25# box of peaches as well, just to make all the work worth it!
