The U.S. Midwest is not exactly known for its excellent skiing, but then, we're not exactly excellent skiers either! Mostly flat, those who cannot afford to travel to the ski meccas of Aspen and Telluride make do with the intermittent geographical bumps such as Wilmot 'Mountain' and Alpine Valley ski resorts.

All that was irrelevant as the scout troop headed to Wilmot Mountain for an overnight campout (indoors) in February, and a day of sliding down the slopes!
