Cub Scout electives involve learning many of the skills that boys both enjoy and need to know. Identifying and using tools is one such skill that has lifelong value.

It also has the additional benefit of teaching the parents, many of whom may not be from a family who spent much time fixing or doing projects.

 

In this case the boys built a wood toolbox, with the help of volunteers from our local home improvement store: Home Depot.
