Mary's girl scout troop had to learn about plants and flowers, so what better location than the Botanic Gardens?
We lucked out with a gorgeous July day and I pulled together resources and a route that would cover the basics, and then some!
Bonus for the girls was a huge statue of Linnaeus in one of the first gardens en route - the Father of Botanical (& Zoological) nomenclature!
