Mikey crossed over into Boy Scouts in February, and became my 2nd boy scout - Mason is still a few years away, in Cub Scouts.

We have a fantastic troop, and as leaders we try to give the boys new and interesting experiences to build their interests and knowledge. Thanks to the organization of a couple of our pilot parents, the boys traveled out to Poplar Grove Airport and worked with the local Young Eagles chapter to earn their Aviation merit badge.

Mike joined them as both a mentor and parent - he LOVES airplanes - and helped the boys grasp the aeronautical concepts very effectively. They all got to sleep in the hangar overnight as well!
