McMurray Family

Our Cub Scout Pack organizes 2 family campouts each year - in the Spring and Fall. The locations vary, but den leaders work to include a chunk of requirements and skills into these trips so the boys get to practice in real situations.

Proper knife skills are well taught with a bar of soap, and so 'my boys' got a refresher in using their knives by whittling a bar of soap at the Spring campout. Hiking was the highlight on both Spring and Fall trips, along with each den cooking their own meals.

 

Mason was excited, being that he was now officially a cub scout!
