McMurray Family

A pack tradition for as long as the boys have been participating, Rocket Day is open to all families and their members. Boys get to build (either prior to or on site) and launch model rockets over the course of 3-4 hours. Safety circles are marked out, and instructions given ahead of firing to ensure no lost fingers or noses!

This year we added water rockets into the mix, giving the boys another way to defy gravity. Hauling a bucket of water over to the launch site was a huge pain though as there was no hose or lake close by to use!!
